Singapore’s Law Ministry has released for public consultation new proposals related to civil intellectual property disputes. Of special note is the proposed Fast Track program. Suitable for less well-resourced parties the Fast Track program places a two-day cap on hearings, a $500,000 ceiling on the claim value and discretion for the court in key matters in relation to the conduct of the case.
